We’re emerging as the default for a critical part of the AI stack: the agent/user interaction layer. CopilotKit brings agents out of demos and terminals and into production, through deep integrations with the leading AI infrastructure companies and hyper-scalers (including the leading AI/infra teams at Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Oracle, LangChain, Mastra, Pydantic, Agno, and others).
Our small, fast-moving team is building the agentic application platform that will define how user-interactive AI actually manifests in the real world. This is a unique opportunity to join as an early leader on one of the most complex and high-leverage surfaces in AI — with significant scope for technical, product, and leadership growth.
The Role
You'll power the people and collaboration side of CopilotKit's strategic partnerships — working alongside our technical partnerships PM, Head of Growth, and CEO to turn technical wins into visible ecosystem moments. You'll own co-running partnerships and be CopilotKit's physical presence in the SF AI ecosystem.
This role combines partnership development with community leadership. You'll sit in Tier 1 partner meetings catching marketing opportunities, execute joint campaigns with ecosystem partners, and represent CopilotKit across the SF AI scene — from running our events to attending ecosystem gatherings and supporting engineers at conferences.
What You'll Do
- Represent growth in strategic partner meetings: Join Tier 1 meetings (AWS, Google, Microsoft, Oracle) to identify collaboration opportunities and turn technical wins into ecosystem moments
- Own co-marketing partnerships end-to-end: Build relationships with ecosystem partners (PydanticAI, Mastra, CrewAI, etc.), propose collaborations, and execute from first email to published content
- Be CopilotKit's presence in SF: Run our events (venue sourcing, logistics, Luma, merch), attend ecosystem events, and support engineers at conferences
- Act as ecosystem antenna: Surface opportunities, relationships, and intelligence from the SF AI community back to the team
What We're Looking For
- People-first mindset: Warm, reliable, naturally good at making people feel valued — partners enjoy working with you
- SF-based and plugged in (or ready to be): Comfortable attending 2–3 events weekly as CopilotKit's person in the room
- Technically literate: Can explain AG-UI and hold conversations with engineers and developer advocates (no coding required)
- High agency: See opportunities and make them happen without needing a playbook
- Strong communicator: Draft co-marketing briefs, partnership outreach, and launch plans without heavy editing
- Willing to travel occasionally for conferences and partner events
- 1–4 years in engineer or partnerships, community, BD, DevRel at a tech company — ideally in AI, dev tools, or open source (non-traditional backgrounds welcome if you've shipped real work)
